The Washington High School Science Club gave a presentation on the scientific method to students at Lena Dunn. The Science Club will be hosting a Science Fair, open to all 4th-grade students in Washington Schools, on April 6th at WHS.

Washington High School NJROTC Mega Meet
The Washington High School NJROTC hosted the annual WHS Hatchet Mega-Meet on February 2nd, 2019. Washington hosted eight other NJROTC Units and competed in Close-Order Drill and various physical training events to judge the students' ability to work together as a team.

Math Bowl
In the green class, North Elementary came in first with Griffith close behind in second (by a point!). Veale took third place and Lena Dunn's 2 green teams got participation ribbons.
The yellow class (which is 4th-grade only) - Veale first place, North second place, Barr Reeve third, and Griffith with participation ribbons.
In the blue class, North Daviess took first place and South Knox second.
In the red class - Petersburg got first place, Barr Reeve second, and Vigo third.
All students receive a certificate and ribbon. Great Job!

Super Chat with Superintendent Dr. Dan Roach
Here is the February edition of SuperChat. Dr. Dan Roach and Washington High School Choir Director Scott Giffith discuss the choir's upcoming trip to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall! Students will perform with other choirs from across the country and perform the world premiere of a new song by composer Randall Stroope.
