December Newsletter
Season's Greetings from the Badger Burrow!
'Tis the Season
We would like to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy Holidays! We understand that everyone is busy hustling and bustling around during this time of year, so we would like to keep our newsletter as brief as we can.
With that in mind, within our December Newsletter you will find important information and events/dates to be aware of our your Badger. December is a short and fun-filled month for all of our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. As always, we thank you for your continued support at home.
Also, if for any reason, your child should not or cannot be participating in our holiday celebrations, please let us know and we will find alternate activities for them.

Sock Exchange and Ugly/Tacky Holiday Sweater Day (Wednesday, December 21st)
As the holidays near, we have many fun activities planned for our students! This year, students will be participating in a sock exchange. We are requesting that you send your Badger with one pair of either holiday or 'funky' socks that could be worn by either boys or girls. Please send them to school wrapped or in a small gift bag. If looking for inexpensive holiday socks, they have them at the Dollar Tree!
We have some extra pairs of socks available for the exchange, so please let us know if your Badger needs a donated pair. If you would prefer your Badger not participate in this activity, please let us know.
The sock exchange will take place on Wednesday, December 21st. Also, on Thursday, we will be having an Ugly/Tacky Holiday Sweater or shirt day. If your Badger does not have one, please do not feel like you need to go buy or make one. This is just meant to bring some extra holiday fun!
PLEASE SEND YOUR SOCKS IN WITH YOUR STUDENT BY FRIDAY, DEC. 16TH!

Feeling Disconnected from your Badger's education? Sign up for Seesaw!
Dear Parents,
This year we're going to use a new tool to share what we're learning in class called Seesaw. Your child will have his or her own learning journal, and you can get notified when your child adds new items. It's completely private -- only you can see your child's journal outside of class.
Click on https://app.seesaw.me/s/890-934-389 to sign up -- it takes just 30 seconds.
Once you sign up, you can download the Seesaw Parent app for iPhone or Android, or access your child's journal on the web.
Thanks!
P.S. If you have more than one child using Seesaw, or want to add a new class/school year for your child, follow the link in this email, then click 'Sign in' tab at the top. You do not need to create a new account.
