The ASWCC Programming and Diversity Board (PDB) is a group of student leaders who work to enhance student life by planning events and activities for campus. The Board is dedicated to providing programming around topics of diversity and social justice issues, with the intent to increase conversations across campus that promote inclusiveness and multicultural understanding. The Board also provides a large number of opportunities and events such as open mic nights, theater productions, hip-hop concerts, lectures, intramurals sports, movie nights, hikes, the annual Orca Day celebration, and more!
This is a one year employment and leadership program beginning in the fall and ending in the spring. Students on the Board are members of a high-functioning leadership team. Board members are paid $10/hr and receive training and real-life experience in:
- Project Management
- Leadership
- Budgeting
- Collaboration
- Marketing& Graphic Design
- Program planning
- Contract negotiations
No experience necessary! - We have only a few requirements - Board members must be a current WCC Student who are ready to work hard and have fun! All students are welcome and encouraged to apply.
