Final Assessment Conflict Form
The June Assessment calendar is available. It has come to my attention that there may be family obligations in conflict with the published assessment schedule. Any request to move an assessment needs to come through my office using this conflict form.
No Semester assessment will be administered prior to June 12, 2023, the official start of the assessment period. However, I am willing to work with you if there is a conflict that can be resolved within the final exam schedule (June 12 - June 15). If we are unable to find a time during the assessment period we can work to find a mutually agreeable time to complete the assessment during the summer. The first two summer make-up dates will be Tuesday, June 20, and Wednesday, June 21 at 9:00 AM. Please know, any student who does not complete their assessment before June 21, 2023, will likely have an incomplete until school resumes in August. I realize that some absences are unplanned, and if you miss an exam on a given day, please work with your teacher directly to reschedule the exam in a make-up window OR over the summer.
Class of 2026 Walk Volunteers
If you are able to provide operational support (water station, donation of goods, etc) for the walk, please follow this link.
Class of 2026 Permission Slip
Thank you to everyone who has filled out a permission slip. Any student who does not complete the permission slip will not be allowed to attend the walk After participating in fundraising and the charity walk, your child will receive 5 community service hours, which accounts for half the amount of community service hours needed in Freshman year. There is no registration fee for the Freshman Walk in order for your child to attend but a completed permission slip is required.
Please follow this link to complete the permission slip.

Class of 2023 Graduation Events
Baccalaureate will take place on Tuesday, May 30th, at 6:30 PM. This event will take place in the Auditorium and all are welcome to attend although the evening is not required. The evening is a night of speeches, song, and fun and has been a highlight of the week for many Masconomet graduates.
The Senior Scholarship and Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 1st, at 10:00 AM on Roberts Field in Masconomet’s Bunker Stadium. This event is not required, but unlike in previous years, we will be sending letters home to families indicating if a student will be receiving recognition at this event. This was feedback that came to us last year and will allow families to plan accordingly to be in attendance if possible. If the weather does not cooperate with us, we will move this event to the Auditorium and each graduate will be limited to two guests.
The Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, June 2nd, at 6:00 PM. We are hopeful that the weather will cooperate but if it does not, we will have a rain date of Saturday, June 3rd, at 3:00 PM. As we approach the week of graduation, if there are reasons to make a shift to this plan we will communicate this information to you directly and in a timely manner.
Information regarding the day-to-day student requirements for the week of 5/30 - 6/2 will come directly from Ms. Finnegan, the Class advisor.
AP Exam information
A reminder that AP exams begin next week! Please click here to access the Masco AP exam schedule, which also includes testing room locations. Below are important notes:
- Students should arrive to school by 7:35am for morning AP exams, and at 12:00pm for afternoon AP exams.
- There will be attendance rosters posted outside each testing classroom. Please verify upon arrival that you are in the correct test location!
- Bring two sharpened No. 2 pencils to all of your exams.
- Check the AP Calculator Policy to ensure your calculator is approved.
- You will be asked to power down your phone during testing, (other smart devices are NOT allowed).
- If you have decided against taking your AP exam(s) – or have any other questions - please see Mrs. Delafano or email her at adelafano@masconomet.org.
The bus schedule will run as it typically does on all AP exam days. However, students who test with accommodations will have a later dismissal time – and will therefore have to arrange for transportation home.
Finally, feel free to review the AP Terms & Conditions as you will be asked to sign a certification statement on exam day.
