GOOD STANDING
In order to promote an environment that promotes academics and a positive learning environment, Andover High School has a definition for students in GOOD STANDING. Students who are in GOOD STANDING at Andover High have met the following criteria: No detention PAST DUE Not failing more than ONE class Not currently under probationary conditions assigned by administration Administration can remove a student from GOOD STANDING for any violation of student handbook policy including truancy, unexcused absences, tardies, network misuse, out-of-class without a pass, behavior at school events, etc… Students who are not in GOOD STANDING are not eligible for the following: Honor Passes Attendance at activity meetings during T-Time Media Center passes Extra-curricular events such as homecoming dances, etc… OPEN LUNCH
Students will always have a path back to GOOD STANDING by:
Serving detention that is PAST DUE
Not failing more than ONE class
Completing probationary conditions
Making choices that do not violate the student handbook
TRAFFIC UPDATE
Traffic lanes are open, and traffic is being controlled by the lights. Please be aware the construction is not complete, and it remains a 30 mph construction zone at ALL times. From 7:30 to 9:00 and 2:30 to 4:00 there is a 20mph School Zone inside the construction zone. Please obey the lights, officers are writing tickets for running the red lights. Tickets are also being written for driving across Cottonwood's property to create a shortcut.
- Do not go to Cottonwood unless you have practice at Trojan Stadium or you are picking up a CES student.
- Do not disobey the no left turn sign on the far south exit by Redbud trail. That exit is a right turn only. Since the lanes are open, you might want to consider a new route.
- The traffic at the North Exit is really able to clear traffic when the lights go green. AHS students please be aware that this is an exit for Middle School pick-up, and blocking those parents to let out our parking lot is rude. If you let one car out or alternate that's fine, but to block the lane for many, many cars is not courteous to our neighbor. Thanks for your help.
