Marie Curie

Marie Curie was the first women to make history in 1903 on winning the first nobel prize award for physics. She was a polish scientist who won both Chemistry and Physics nobel prizes. In 1911 she she won her second award on Chemistry.
Childhood
Marie Curie was the youngest of 5 children. Both of her parents worked as teachers. Her family and her didn't have much money but they did have a good education. Her real name is Maria Sklodowska. In 1891 she moved to France and went to Sorbonne University.
Education
Marie Curie didn't actually get to go to school that much but had her dad teach her things. When she was in University her dad really didn't have a lot money which made it hard for her to go to school.
Family
Marie Curie had two daughters Irene Joliot-Curie and Eve Curie. One of her daughters Eve Curie had followed her mother steps. She also married Pierre Curie on July 26, 1895.
Career
Her career was the first female who won a nobel prize in both Chemistry and Physics. Marie was a polish scientist back then. She was a physics and chemist and a pioneer in the study of radiation.
Accomplishments
One of Marie Curie's accomplishment was her and her husband Pierre discovered the elements of both podium and radium. She also accomplished to be the first women to win a nobel in both Physics and chemistry.
