April Newsletter 2024
Amy Belle Elementary
Principal's Corner-Mrs. Kohel
Dear Families,
I hope you had a wonderful spring break and are ready for the last quarter of the school year. We will be completing our State Forward Assessment for grades 3-5 in the upcoming weeks. A letter with information and grade level schedules was sent home a few weeks ago. Please make sure you are aware of when your child will be taking their tests. Make sure that they are at school, well rested and focused.
This month we will focus on the trait-courage! We will talk about this in different contexts throughout the month and help students identify skills that help them be courageous. We will get together as a school community for our April Belle Fest to celebrate our new learning.
When the weather begins to get nice, it can sometimes be more difficult for students to stay focused and complete work at school and at home. Add in sports and other extracurriculars in the spring, and it can become more challenging for students to get things completed. Please help your child manage their time and focus their efforts in order to have the last quarter be successful!
Sincerely,
Katie Kohel
