Spoiler Alert: Teacher Appreciation Week, Outdoor School, 8th-Grade News, Volunteer Thank You ...
Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, da Vinci Families!
Last week I sent an email with a few asks. I want to be transparent with you all. We are experiencing an uptick of covid positive cases. I am asking that you please keep your kiddo(s) home when they are sick, test them if they have covid symptoms and to communicate with us, if your kiddo happens to test positive. Many of our students and staff are wearing masks in the general environments; however, masks are still optional. Do what feels comfortable and what feels right to you. As things start to open back up and we have more flexibility with in person events and being with one another within each of our communities, it is inevitable that numbers increase, but there are some things we can do to slow down exposure.
This Tuesday, while our 7th graders engage in SEL work, our 8th graders will be meeting with our team to review all the events coming up for them through the end of the year; including opportunities, responsibilities, and their to-do checklist. Look for paperwork coming home this week for more information on performances, the 8th Grade Trip, and Promotion.
Stay healthy and happy!
Principal Davis
