Appearance & Classification
The Amur Leopard looks SO COOL! The size of a Amur Leopard is 70-110 Lbs. Males weigh 110-120 Lbs, and females weigh 65-75 Lbs. The height of a Amur Leopard is 18-30 inches tall. The color of its coat is pale creamy yellow. My animal has a fur coat for a skin cover. Their spots help them blend in to their enviornment. My animal is a mammal.
Habitat Information
The Amur Leopard live in some cool places! The Amur Leopard lives in the woodland, savannah, and tropical forests. The weather is different depending on where they live. They live in mountains or near a river valley.
Preditor & Prey
The leopard has to fight to stay alive! One of their predators is HUMANS! Big Cats is another one. My animal protects it self by climbing trees to get away. Amur Leopards are real good hunters. The Amur Leopard eat deer, boars, and rodents. They find its prey near mountains an river valleys. My animal is a carnivore.
Fascinating facts
Here are some true facts that I learned. Leopards can carry animals twice as big as they are up a tree. There are ONLY 35 Amur Leopards in the wild! AND an ONLY 300 in captivity. Amur Leopards can live up to 10-15 years in the wild and up to 21 years in captivity.
