From the Principal's office!
Dear SSP High School families,
I am very sad to report that on Thursday we learned that a former SSP High School student died unexpected. As a school community, we extend our deepest sympathies to the family and to the many students, families and staff impacted by this death. Due to the Minnesota Data Practice Act, I am unable to share any other details and appreciate your support during this very difficult time. As the news spreads throughout our school community in the days ahead our staff will be working hard to provide resources and support to students, teachers, and others who were impacted.
I wanted you to have this information and encourage you to spend some time talking with your children over the weekend about their feelings in response to this news. Please be aware that even if your child did not know the student who died, they may still experience strong feelings and emotions. You can access support by contacting your school counselor and please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

PSEO (Postsecondary Enrollment Options)
Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students to earn college credit tuition free while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college courses. With traditional PSEO, these courses are generally offered on the campus of the postsecondary institution; some courses are offered online.

How do I make an appointment?
A list of clinics will be available on the MDA website, https://www.mndental.org/events/give-kids-a-smile/find-a-participating-clinic/ , or by calling United Way 2-1-1 or 1-800-543-7709.
