Marine Biologist

Advantages
There are lots of advantages to being a Marine Biologist, one of them is that you get to travel around the world studying and researching animals. Also you get to swim in the ocean and study lot's of sea animals like whales, turtles, star fish and other sea animals that people probably would never get a chance to see in their life time.
Disadvantages
There are many disadvantages to being a Marine Biologist, but the few that stand out the most are while you are studying animals you could get poisoned, bit by sharks or other sea creatures. One thing that is really sad would be seeing the animal that you've taken care of for years die. Also you could be studying and animal for months and not get that much information. Lastly since you take lots of trips to study animals you might have to leave your family more then you would like.

Job Description/Duties
A Marine Biologist duties include working outside and gathering data or studying animals natural habitat. Also, you'll have to organize and conduct experimental studies with live animals in controlled or natural surroundings. Finally, you'll have to study the characteristics of animals such as origin, interrelationships, classification, life histories and diseases, development, genetics, and distribution.

Environmental relationship between the environment and job!
Being a Marine Biologist helps the environment by researching the animals with there diseases. If there was an animal that had a disease that spread onto other animals or people the Biologist would study about it in order for it to not spread. Also, if there were no Marine biologist we wouldn't know about half the animals that are living today and if there dangerous or not. Finally they help environmental issues like climate change and pollution and their potential for altering or destroying habitat.
