New Information
Our 3rd-5th grade students take the ATLAS Exam on April 23, 25, and 26. Teachers have planned some fun testing incentives leading up to the test that encourage good test taking skills. Help us out by checking out the Amazon store.

The eclipse is coming soon! Students will be given eclipse glasses to view the eclipse. Teachers will be doing lessons in the classroom as well. What a cool thing to learn about!
The end of the year Talent Show will be here before you know it! Students can pick up a sign-up form from Mrs. Low or it can be found on the music google classroom page below.

This year the family dance will have a western theme. Join in the fun and wear your favorite western wear!! This is not a drop off event, please plan to stay with your child. Tickets can be purchased today using this link.

We have the Golden Ticket at Young Elementary! Thank you Sara Kennedy for being the BEST Assistant Principal and loving on all of our Yellowjacket students and families.
Green Bench Challenge
We have LOVED the two green benches that we have recieved the last two years. Please read carefully and help us out by bring #2 recycled items (clear milk jugs not included). Thank you Mrs. Huffmaster for organizing.

Second Portion of ATLAS
ATLAS Reading, Math, and Science will be Tuesday (April 23rd) Thursday (April 25th) and Friday (April 26th). Please make sure your child is at school on these days.

Community Opportunity
On Saturday, April 27th, the Springdale Airport will host the Aerospace Education Open House from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Springdale Airport Terminal, 802 Airport Avenue. We will have numerous booths from various training schools, companies, government organizations, and aviation-related interest groups. EAA Chapter 732 and FlyARH will partner to offer free airplane rides for students who are from 8 to 17 years old. For the younger and older people attending, FlyARH will offer helicopter rides at a reduced cost.
