Leaders Convergence
Activating Transformative Leaders in Communities and Cities
Q Commons Sacramento Wrap-Up!
Q Commons 2019 was a great night of leaders together, talking and making decisions on how to transform culture. All of the local talks were taped and video or audio will be released in upcoming newsletters. On the Q Commons Sacramento stage, local entrepreneur and culture shaper Eric Knopf gave a gripping vision of how to shake up how companies cultivate the life and work experience of employees. Make connection the key thing. Dena Davidson gave a clear challenge to think of the hardest question anyone might ask you about life or faith and to no longer be afraid of that. Getting that question and returning it with another question can begin a dialog that changes both of your lives.
To close the evening, Rebekah Hagan gave a compelling talk on valuing children and families, choosing children and their welfare over convenience and freedoms. Pastor Francis Anfuso and Dr. Vansen Wong joined Rebekah in a panel on the topic of "Creating a Better Future for Life" moderated by Jeff Kreiser.
From the National Stage
Malcolm Gladwell shared about the importance of talking to strangers in becoming good neighbors. We encourage you to check out the movie trailer below as a good bridge to learn more from Fred Rogers about the courage to move toward people in love and sincerity.
Also nationally, Rebekah Lyons shared about rhythms of grace for our hurried lives and Francis Chan - with typical passion - shared about creating a better future by stopping going for the big thing and engaging the power of relationships in smaller environments.
