Mask Mandate Update: Nurse Health Suite and Health Isolation Rooms:
Mask Mandate Update: Nurse Health Suite and Health Isolation Rooms: As guided by DC Health, the mask mandate within schools was lifted on Wednesday, March 16. Please note that there is an exception: Within the Nurse Health Suite and the Health Isolation Room, masks will be required to be worn by both health personnel and any visitor to the health space. Masks will be provided upon entry to each space.
Free Kid-size KN95
Free Kid-size KN95 masks are now available, along with adult-size KN95 masks and rapid test kits, at D.C. COVID centers in every ward. You can also get free vaccinations and booster doses. Family Garden Work Day - Saturday, March 26, from 2:30-5:00 p.m.
Join FoodCorps and our resident gardener, Kerinna Good, for a Family Garden Work Day on Saturday, March 26, from 2:30-5:00 p.m. RSVP here.
We will have many different options for tasks to help out, including:
Painting new garden signs
Mulching roadside flower beds
Cistern maintenance
Sanding and sealing wooden greenhouse platform in the side garden
Moving storage shed to the front garden
Installing plexiglass for an outdoor classroom in the side garden
Building new raised beds (tentative)

J.O. Wilson PTA Virtual General Body Meeting – Tuesday, April 5, at 6:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome Principal Eric Fraser of Stuart-Hobson Middle School. Principal Fraser will provide a general overview of what families can expect as their students prepare for the transition to middle school.

Save the Date for Cardinal Auction Night – Friday, May 13! This is the biggest fundraiser of the year, and we need your help! Assist the planning committee with soliciting donations from local businesses, updating information for the website, and party planning.
