Health and Nutrition
All Immunizations have been entered into TXEIS and the State Report is as follows for Pre-K

There have been 102 visits to the clinic since the beginning of school.

All Head Start children’s vision, hearing and height/weights results have been entered into Childplus.
A list has been provided to teachers of children who are still in need of Physical, Dental and Lab reports. They will ask the Parents during Home Visits if these have been completed. Ms. Hagerty will be doing follow-ups from the information gathered.
Mrs. Hagerty met with Lou Ann Taylor and Bethany Arie on Wednesday, November 1st to start planning for the Fannin County Health Expo. On November 8 the Health Coalition met to determine the date and time for the event and to talk about the location and vendors. Some of the things we hope to bring in this year for the Expo are: Food demonstration, car seat event, free haircuts, blood drive and mammograms.
Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Hagerty attended training on ESPED presented by Phyllis Mosley.

Bailey Inglish held a pumpkin carving night for the students and their families. We had a great turn out! This helped support school readiness through parent engagement in this great activity carving out pumpkins. Moms and dads asked many open ended questions and explored the many attributes related to pumpkins.

Education and Mental Health
CLI Engage first wave: August 16th-October 20th
With all students measured in phonological awareness, math, story retell and comprehension, 64% are on track with being able to name common objects, 52% on track with number discrimination, and 64% are on track with story retell and comprehension.
*The first wave of data allows us to view the children’s performance across all subject areas. *The second wave from October 23rd-February 2nd will allow us to view the children’s gains.
Parent Conferences/Home visits - November 3rd & November 10th
Data Entry - All screenings have been entered into Child Plus.
Behavior Intervention- I met with a consultant from Region 10 to discuss more intensive behavior strategies to support the classroom environment.
Interventions for students identified as at-risk due to falling below the cut off on the developmental screening - I met one on one with the teachers of those students to discuss goals and to guide individualized instruction. The students will be rescreened in the spring.
Professional Development: Ongoing professional development opportunities have been selected to support teachers in the classroom in behavior and instruction. 1302.92 Training and professional development - Staff must complete a minimum of 15 clock hours of professional development per year.
