Junior Scholarship Opportunity
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride scholarship opportunity for high school juniors who plan to enroll in college in the fall of 2022. Coolidge Scholars are selected based primarily on academic excellence, an interest in public policy, an appreciation of the values of President Coolidge championed, as well as humility and service.
The 100 top applicants are invited to participate in an all-expenses-paid Summit Weekend in Washington, D.C. and one-time $1,000 scholarship. The application requires that applicants read President Coolidge’s Autobiography and complete a few other reading assignments, so applicants are encouraged to begin the process early.
More information, including the application, is available at coolidgescholars.org. All applications must be completed online and submitted by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Have you caught someone being a Bulldog?
Have you caught a student or a WHS staff member "Being a Bulldog"? We want to hear about it!
What is being a Bulldog? The American Kennel Club describes a Bulldog as kind but courageous, full of tenacity, friendly, and loyal companions. It is fitting that we are the Wylie Bulldogs because those are the qualities we strive for our campus to exude.
We believe that it is important to recognize those that are examples of kindness, friendliness, loyalty, and courage. Students and staff members can be nominated by students, staff, and community members. It is the hope of WHS that Bulldogs will inspire other Bulldogs to continue to show these characteristics. Nominate someone here!
