Got Sleep?
Get your children to bed on time. Most elementary school-age children need an average of 10 hours of sleep per night. Sleep allows kid's bodies to re-regulate their essential growth and development hormones, strengthen their immune systems, and aids in behavior, attention, memory and concentration.
Got Food?
What's the best way to build a Lego house? Using the right building blocks. What's the best way to build a strong body and brain? Using the right building blocks. Only with kid's bodies you use the right foods instead of Legos.
ISD 709 is offering a free breakfast and lunch program to students this year to all students! If you do qualify for reduced lunches please fill out this form for our food service department.
You can also pick up this form at the school office.
The breakfast and lunch program will begin Tuesday, September 7th.
Parent Involvement
We encourage you, the parents, to be involved in the activities that take place at Stowe. Parents are their child's first and most influential teachers. Parent involvement is a key component to a rich and meaningful education for your child.
Please consider volunteering at Stowe as well as joining the Stowe PTA. We are looking for new officers and people to head up committees. Without your help, Stowe may not be able to offer all the outstanding activities sponsored by our PTA. Our goal is to have every parent volunteer help with just one or more, PTA sponsored event during the school year.
