As Covid numbers are declining and more people are getting vaccinated, we are excited to be shifting gears toward learning in person! We thank everyone; family members, staff, students, and teachers who spend so much time and effort making connections possible. THANK YOU!!

April Calendar
Throughout April- Tplus staff and students highlight and learn about West African Cultures
- Due April 1st: Schedule Survey for 2021/22 school year
- March 29 - April 1: No School for Team 2 and 3 students
- April 2 - April 9: No school - Spring Break
- April 12: Team 2 and 3 In-Person Learning begins
- April 12: Beginning of 4th quarter

In Person Learning Update
Return to In Person (IP) Learning
How to Keep Each Other Safe at Tplus
Home Screening should be done each day before sending your student to school.
TRANSITION PLUS IN-PERSON SCHEDULE:
- TPlus offers in-person learning 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday).
- Fridays will be virtual for all Tplus students. Our Friday schedule will remain the same as it has been all year.
ARRIVAL / DISMISSAL
Families choosing to drive their students to school will drop off at door 1 in the front of the Center for Adult Learning.
- Drop-off time is between 9:15-9:30am.
- Pick-up time is between 3:50- 4:05pm.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- March 29 - April 1: No school for team 2 and 3 students while teachers plan for their in-person learning
- April 12: Team 2 and 3 in-person learning begins - all students choosing in-person (IP) learning report to Tplus.
TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION:
- Families can expect to receive transportation information on March 30 via a MPS robocall to the numbers you have on file to receive MPS updates. Your message preferences can be updated through School Messenger.

4th Quarter Schedule:
- Advisory/Breakfast: 9:30 - 10:00
- Period 1: 10:00 - 10:55
- Period 2: 11:00 - 11:55
- Lunch/Advisory Rotations: 12:00 - 1:30
- Period 3: 1:30 - 2:25
- Period 4: 2:30 - 3:25
- Advisory: 3:30 - 3:55
- Dismissal/Buses

*Note: Students can have either a GoTo card OR ride the school bus, not both.
Track your Bus from your device
To set up an account, you will need:
- Your student's ID number (which is also their lunch number)
- MPS school code: 87018
Update Your School Messenger Preferences
- The school must be notified of updates of contact information - the school does not send school updates.
- Be sure to receive text messages by sending a "Y" to 67587.
- Families can manage their communication preferences by creating a SchoolMessenger account

Family Voices for Minnesota has developed information to help these individuals schedule appointments and receive vaccines.
COVID Tracking App
As you may have heard from Governor Walz, the State has rolled out a Covid tracking app which is described as voluntary, anonymous, and secure.
The more people who use it, the more effective the app will be.

Site Council 4/15 @ 4:30
Site council meets the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 pm via Google Meets. Our next meeting will be Thursday, April 15th at 4:30 pm.
Site Council is searching for active participants who can help collaborate with others to generate ideas of how our Transition Plus community operates. Students and parents are strongly encouraged to join.
