Tuareg people
The Tuareg (also spelled Twareg) are a Berber people with a traditionally nomadic lifestyle. They are the principal inhabitants of the Saharan interior of North Africa. The Tuareg language, a branch of the Berber language, has an estimated 1.2 million speakers. About half this number is accounted for by speakers of the Eastern dialect (Tamajaq, Tawallammat). Most Tuareg live in the Saharan parts of Niger, Mali, and Algeria. Being nomadic, they move constantly across national borders, and small groups of Tuareg are also found in southeastern Algeria, southwestern Libya and northern Burkina Faso, and a small community in northern Nigeria.
Taguella
The taguella is a thick cake without leaven semolina wheat or millet , sometimes mixed with flour taouit kneaded long (for twenty minutes) and then baked in the embers, ash and sand, which serves bread to Tuareg and then quenched (with right hand) after fragmented in a sauce of tomatoes and vegetables, meat or various of chilli or sometimes flavored broth and fennel wild (tattayt) accompanied by meat.
Music
For the Tuareg, music is a binding force amid endless dunes. Its call-and-response patterns are derived from sub-Saharan music. Its hypnotic vocal range and rhythm are similar to Arab and Berber music. In general, Tuareg music is the domain of women.
Animals of the Sahara....................
A Jerboa
They look like kangaroos due to having many similarities such as long hind legs, very short forelegs, and long tails. Jerboas move around by hopping, the tail can be longer than its head and body .The tail is used to balance when it is hopping and "as a prop when sitting upright".
small fennec fox
Its most distinctive feature is its unusually large ears, which serve to disperse heat. Its name comes from the Arabic word fanak, which means fox, habitat. The fennec is the smallest species of canid in the world. Its coat, ears, and kidney functions have adapted to high-temperature, low-water, desert environments. In addition, its hearing is sensitive enough to hear prey moving underground.
Camels
A camel is an even-toed ungulate within the genus Camelus, bearing distinctive fatty deposits known as "humps" on its back. The two surviving species of camel are the dromedary, or one-humped camel, which is native to the Middle East and the Horn of Africa; and the Bactrian, or two-humped camel, which inhabits Central Asia. Both species have been domesticated; they provide milk, meat, hair for textiles or goods such as felted pouches, and are working animals.
