Clubs and Classrooms
- Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center's Leadership Conference: Ms. D'Addona and several 10th grade students participated in this annual conference at Iona University. Students attended workshops on current human rights violations, facilitated by students from schools throughout the county. The conference concluded with a presentation by Lisa Salko who is a member of the HHREC's Generations Forward group. She discussed the Thirteen Drivers' Licenses Project, which explains the story of 13 Jewish citizens persecuted during the Nazi regime in Lichtenfels, Germany. See pic here!
- Math Club: Over the past few weeks, nearly 200 of our middle and high school students joined over 30,000 other students nationwide in participating in MathCon- an innovative online Mathematics competition, where top performers are invited to compete for prizes at the finals--held in Chicago, in person!!!
- Mrs. Dallow's Graphic Arts class: created Designs for Google's DOODLE FOR GOOGLE contest. Here are a few samples that show student responses for Google's 2024 prompt: "My wish for the next 25 years." Ideas ranged from "a greener world" and "preserving nature" to "world peace" and "resolving climate change." Here is a sampling from the class.

- Myli Bruno's play has been chosen as one of the 3 winners of our Playwriting Competition! The reading and celebration will be on Monday, April 22 at 6:30pm. Hope you will join us! See pic here!
- The Roger Rees Awards: Congratulations to Alex Kerr and Jian Kawai who will be moving forward as our school’s two representatives in the next phase of the Roger Rees Outstanding Performer in a Musical Award! These two students will be performing in-person vocal auditions on May 5! See pic here!
- Five of Rye Neck's young scientists are competing in the Westchester Science and Engineering Fair (WESEF) on Saturday, March 16th at Somers High School and Middle School. See flyer here! Our students and their original projects are:

- The Tri-County Science & Technology Fair is looking for judges! If you have a background in sciences and technology, research, and/or industry and technical work please read the attached flyer. The fair is being held virtually from April 8-15 and can be done from the comfort of your home! Help support our students and our Science Research Program by being a judge and inspiring the next generation of scientists and technologists.
