Use Thinglink to take an image and embed multimedia hotspots; Drag-and-drop videos, images, documents, and other digital content. Have students create a Thinglink as the product of an in-class project; insert recordings of performing, images or video of how they practice, etc. Thinglink is also an app for mobile devices.
Use with students
- The easiest way to use Thinglink with students is to share the link on a website or Learning Management System.
- Thinglink EDU gives you the ability to create groups of students. You have to enter the names manually in the free version.
- Students will need their own account to create in Thinglink.
getting started
Create an account at https://www.thinglink.com/edu.
On the home page of your new account, you will see "My Stream" and "Featured". Explore the "Featured" Thinglinks for ideas. Click on the examples to see what others have created. You can also use the search feature to look for specific examples.
