5 MORE SCHOOL DAYS!!!
ATTENDANCE!!! Please-please bring doctors notes to Ms. Doiron if you have them. If your student is going to be absent, please-please, communicate that with Ms. Doiron. Per the State of Oklahoma, students must be in attendance for 90% of the semester. If they are not, they can/will lose credit in classes which in turns puts them in a tough position to stay on track for graduation. Students can have 8 or less absences in a class (hour). The 9th absences they will lose credit for that class. Ms. Doiron is sending out letters daily! Truancy is being filed with the county if needed. If you have questions about this call the high school office, 405-329-1612.
Check your students grades on your parent portal to make sure they are on track for this semester.
Stay safe.

ICAP
*If your student cannot get into their account, their advocacy teacher now has access to reset all passwords. Every class should be working and talking about this at least once a week during that time frame.
Next semester we will be kicking it up a notch on ICAP activities thanks to the Gear Up Grant from the K20 Center. These activities are CCGC (College and Career Going Culture). Please know this is NOT all about college, it is about moving out into the workforce after high school and/or post-secondary education whether that includes a Technology Center or any college level education. We are super excited about the spring events we are planning.

Senior information
Price currently $42.95. Price will go up sometime around December.
Please make sure you order asap! As we have told the students and it was talked about during the Senior Information Night…we ask that you do not order a gown from a different company. The blues will not match. If you have a sibling/friend that has graduated in the last 6-7 years and the gown is still in good shape, you may wear it. If you have questions about what you have, please bring the gown to the counselors office and we will see if the blue matches.
If you need assistance in a cap and gown, see Mrs. Stroud.
Jostens was at the school on 11/10 to take orders. If you missed this, you may order online as well. See link above. Please do not send payments to LAHS. Payments are to be made straight to Jostens.
Yearbook Update
21-22 Yearbooks are for sale. You may order directly from the site: Click Here. Mrs. Stroud and I met with our Jostens rep and it sounds like we will be putting out some NEW neat and exciting things for yearbook. Stay tuned!
