Devin DeLozier Recognized with Agriculture Educators Standing Ovation Award
The Agriculture Educators Standing Ovation award is designed to recognize the hard work and dedication that agriculture educators and instructors across our state put in daily to make a difference in future generations.
Mr. Devin DeLozier, the agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor at Adair FFA, is the November Standing Ovation Awardee. Mr. DeLozier has taught agriculture education at Adair for 23 years and was the successor of his father Mr. Dennis DeLozier, who taught for 18 years before him.
Devin was nominated by his colleague, Michelle Taylor, who says that Mr. DeLozier learned to live a life of an agriculture teacher, straight from his family connections. Devin acquired a notable agriculture program from his father and turned it into one of the most successful FFA Chapters and Ag Programs in the state of Oklahoma.
“His unique way of classroom teaching including hands-on instruction allows students to understand the importance of responsibility and following through with your commitments. His impact is long-reaching in that he recognizes the benefits of partnerships,” said Michelle Taylor, Adair Public School employee.
