Socktober Celebration!!
Student Council would like to thank you for your month long Socktober Sock it to Drugs support. The drive was a huge success with an amazing collection of 1,211 socks overall for the Community Store House. Third grade collected 297 pairs of socks, the highest number of socks overall, and gets to have a Crazy Hair AND Sock Day on Tuesday the 25th.
It was a lot of fun watching the students keeping an eye on all the boxes each morning as they entered the building. Our goal is to teach students empathy and that they can make a difference in the lives of other children and families. These small gestures show them that they do matter and can make a difference in our community.
Thank you again for your support!

Deep Dish Discussions with Dr. Warren
NISD to host Deep Dish Discussions
Northwest ISD and the Northwest ISD Council of PTAs will host Deep Dish Discussions with Superintendent Ryder Warren this fall, where community members can learn about the current state and future of the school district.
Join Dr. Warren and district leaders for the inside scoop on Northwest ISD’s academic future, growth projections and details on the Texas Legislature’s upcoming session. Collaborate on issues facing public education and Northwest ISD and enjoy a dish of ice cream at one of three meetings:
- Oct. 26 – Byron Nelson High School
- Nov. 2 – Eaton High School
- Dec. 6 – Northwest High School
All meetings will take place 6-7 p.m. in the host school’s student union. Community feedback from the meeting will be used to help Northwest ISD prepare for the future.
