Principal's Update
A newsletter from NHS Principal, Hezekiah Massey
Northwestern,
This week we look forward to seeing seniors and other assigned groups who have materials that need to be returned to our campus. We will collect items (books, technology, uniforms, instrument, supplies, fees, etc.) this week, Monday - Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p. m. and again from 1 p.m. to 4 p. m. for any senior, athlete, and fine arts student who have items they need to return. The designated drop-off areas include our bus loop and the back entrance of the band room (near Purple Regiment Trailer - fine arts only) at those times indicated above.
Seniors may also pay any fines they may have in the athletic office, located near the bus loop at the back of the school during the time you drop off items.
Senior should check with counselors and take care of all of their academic concerns this week, as we will finalize all senior grades with no exceptions on Thursday, May 21st.
All underclassmen (9 - 11) grades will be finalized on Tuesday, May 26th. All underclass students are encouraged to continue working hard to turn in assignments to ensure that your grades are as high as possible. Please contact your teachers and counselors if you need additional information or have any questions about the drop-off schedule.

We have much to celebrate in the coming days with several significant and fun events to honor our Trojans as we close the 2019-2020 school year. Additional information about senior tickets, parking, attire, and other specifics about graduation is forthcoming.
We are so proud of how well you have persevered through this significant shift in our learning, and our hopes and prayers include a desire for us to return to a normal school setting in the near future. The campus is just not the same without its TROJANS! Stay the course, stay safe, and continue to stay connected. We miss you all!
