Butterfly School News for OCTOBER 2017!!
Thank you for being on time for both drop off and pick up! Being on time is essential for school routines, work and life! You are fostering good habits with your children by demonstrating that punctuality is important. When you are punctual, you are being considerate of others and of their time. You are demonstrating that you are dependable, reliable and trustworthy. I think we would all agree, those are good attributes to have!
A Beginners Coding Class on Friday!
I am excited to announce that Butterfly School will be adding a beginners coding class as a special on Fridays starting in November. The class will be taught by Susan Hall. Susan is a former Coppell ISD teacher who is a certified Sally Ride STEM teacher/trainer/coach. Several years ago Susan taught at Butterfly School! A generous donation by a Butterfly School family has enabled Butterfly School to purchase some of the technology so we can offer this program. I am excited to get this program started. The beginning of this program will be very hands on using Code-apillars and Bee-Bots and ozobots then later in the spring transitioning to using Ozmos on ipads.
