March is Reading Month Author
We are excited to bring in this year’s March Is Reading Month author, Peter Raymundo. He is visiting us from Florida where he formerly worked for Disney in Character Animation on films such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, and The Princess and the Frog. He is now a writer and illustrator of children’s books such as The Monkey Goes Bananas and The Lazy Hippo, and a chapter book series, The Third Grade Mermaid. He will be discussing story structure, drawing, creativity, and story basics along with drawing demonstrations for each grade level during school on March 25th. If you would like to see some of his other work, his website is http://www.raymundoarts.com/. We are offering three of his books for pre-event order.
See flyer for details.
It's our Spring Box Top Collection Time! Stay tuned for our Collection Drive dates in February.
Our Box Top Collection drive is just around the corner! I hope everyone is getting excited for another Box Top Collection Contest! So start clipping now and help your child's class be the one that turns in the most Box Tops! Remember - you can turn in your Box Tops at any time in the Box Tops for Education bin just inside the front doors of our school! Just remember to add your name and teacher's name! We are half way to meeting our goal! Let's synergize to get to $1000 this year!
