Enumclaw High School
Fall of 2021
Fall at Enumclaw High School
Judging from the blustery winds, the fallen leaves, and the need for that perfect hoodie, fall has arrived at Enumclaw High School. We all survived Homecoming 2021 and we are looking forward to one of our favorite times for the year. The staff at EHS hope that you share our love for fall on the plateau. Over the next few weeks we will host our virtual fall conferences, we will celebrate the holidays together, and we will continue to work together to create a positive culture here at Enumclaw High School.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) - Fall CTE Advisory Board Meeting Update
College Fair Registration
This year our College Fair is hosted by Arrow - an organization of College Admissions Representatives throughout the Pacific Northwest. There will be an introduction session and workshops on completing college applications and writing essays.
Students will be able to ask questions and receive contact information.
Don't see the college your student is applying to or interested in?
Never fear the information provided by the admissions advisors can be used when applying to any college. It is a great opportunity to receive information on how applications are selected by admissions advisors.

Attendance Matters
Attendance Did You Know?
Students should miss no more than 9 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation.
Frequent absences can be a sign that a student is losing interest in school, struggling with school work, dealing with a bully or facing some other difficulty.
By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
Missing 10%, or 2 days a month, over the course of the school year, can affect a student’s academic success.
