Liaison Program Schedule and Information
All programs are FREE and open to children of ALL ages!! Attending any of these programs is a great way to support and extend the learning your child is already doing at his/her preschool or at home. Please note that parents must remain in the classroom for the duration of each program and are expected to be active participants with their child(ren). Be sure to download the March schedule below!
Sign up for Kindergarten Readiness Camp (KRC) when you register for kindergarten.
- Parent Orientation will be held the evening of June 6 at Sunset from 6:00-7:00 Meet the KRC teachers and see the classrooms! (Parents and students are encouraged to attend.)
- Camp will take place at Sunset from June 10-20 (Only 2 weeks this year.)
- Camp will be in session Monday-Thursday, 8-Noon.
PCSD 6 Kindergarten Readiness List
The month of March in the Kids’ Library is a very full one, with something for everyone!
- Celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss, everyone’s favorite, will start out the month on Monday evening, March 4th at 6:00. The Cat in the Hat will be in attendance, with stories, games, crafts, and snacks! Fun birthday bash for the whole family.
- Another special program for families will be Saturday morning, March 9th at 10:00 – “All About Seeds”. Explore the new Seed Library, hear stories about seeds, and make a seed bomb to take home!
- The amazing folks from the Children’s Resource Center will be bringing their Toddler Playgroup to the library Thursday morning, March 14th at 10:00 – an hour of nonstop fun and active learning, especially for ages 1-3.
- Every week, join Miss Nan for Toddler Time Monday mornings at 10:00, geared for 12-36 months with short stories, music and plenty of movement!
- Story Time, both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00, has longer stories plus games, crafts and songs, especially for kids ages 3-6. No sign-up is needed for any of our Story Times; all are welcome!
- Do you know about “1,000 Books Before Kindergarten”? It’s a super-easy way to reach this terrific goal, and we’d love to help!

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Qualifying for SNAP: Each application is reviewed pursuant to federal regulations and no two households are alike. There may be other regulations than what is listed below that apply which may impact your eligibility. Check the SNAP Income Limits.
Resources: Individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or households who receive POWER/Tribal TANF are exempt from the resource limit. If your household includes a member who is age 60 or older or includes a member who is disabled has a resource limit of $3,750. All other households may have up to $2,500 in resources.
Resources are things like:
- Checking and savings accounts.
- Income producing property.
- Stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.
Benefit Amounts: The amount of SNAP a household receives depends on the number of people in your household and the total amount of net income (income after eligible deductions).
Deductions: Income deductions are subtracted from both earned and unearned income. The deductions are:
- Earned Income Deduction – 20% of gross earnings
- The standard deduction is $177 for AU sizes of 1-3, $184 for AU size of 4, $215 for AU size of 5 and $246 for AU sizes of 6 and above.
- Medical Deduction – allowable medical expenses incurred by elderly or disabled household members in excess of $35 per household.
- Dependent Care Deduction – payments for the care of a child or other incapacitated adult which are necessary for a household member to work, look for work or attend school or training.
- Child Support Deduction – allowable for payments of legally obligated child support.
- Shelter Deduction – allowable shelter costs (rent or mortgage, property taxes, insurance on the structure and utility expenses) in excess of 50% of household income remaining after all other deductions. For households with an elderly or disabled member, there is no limit on the shelter deduction; for all other households, the shelter deduction cannot exceed $569.

Victim Information and Notification Everyday
The Wyoming VINE system is a service through which victims of a crime can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender’s custody status changes. The VINE toll-free number for Wyoming is (866) 994-8463. This service is provided to assist Victims of Crime who have a right to know about their offender’s custody status.
General Information
VINE is a free and anonymous telephone service that
provides victims of crime two important features: Information and notification.
The Wyoming Statewide VINE service is provided by the Wyoming Office of the Attorney General Division of Victim Services.
VINE will monitor the custody status of offenders in county jails and state prisons. Information is available to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Wyoming Statewide VINE service is available in English and spanish. A Live Operator is available to anyone calling the toll-free number for any reason.
Data Transfer Schedule:
County Jails: Every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Department of Corrections: Once a day, in the evening, 7 days a week.
Information
Anyone may call the WYOMING VINE line to determine the custody status of an offender. Callers will need a
touch-tone telephone to use the service. This is information is also available online here. To search for an
offender information through VINE, callers will need to provide one or more of the following items:
• Offender Number
• Offender Name
Secondary search option if there’s more than one offender with the same name: Age, Race, Gender.
