Rotation #6 (Oct. 6 - Oct. 14): The students will explore the difference between Fiction and Non-Fiction books.
1st Grade
Change for Rotation #5 (Sept. 28-Oct. 5): I ended up changing my lessons for last week and focused on showing the students how to use the laptops. We reviewed how to navigate to the Library LibGuide. Then students were able to practice following the steps and explore different ebooks on TumbleBooks, Between the Lions, or Storyline Online.

Bagdad's Storybook Pumpkin Patch Is Coming...
When: October 26th-30th
How: Students can use acrylic paint, permanent markers, and/or glue. (No poking holes please as the pumpkins begin to rot and stink and will have to be thrown away.)
Why: Students bring in their pumpkins to the Storybook Pumpkin Patch (otherwise known as the library) between October 26-29th. Voting for the most creative pumpkin in each grade level will occur after school on Thursday, October 29th. All Pumpkins will need to go home on Friday, October 30th. **The winners in each grade level will receive a $5.00 coupon to go shopping at the book fair!
