Return to School Weekly Update From Dr. Sue
TTSD Community,
My thanks to all who joined us throughout the week at our various community meetings as we move forward with plans to safely begin our return to limited in-person instruction and activities. We have shared a lot of important information over the past several days and we will continue to make that information easily available for all to review if you missed anything or to re-watch for better understanding.
At Monday’s School Board meeting, I presented a detailed update on district plans for reopening. You can find both the slides to my presentation as well as watch the recording of the meeting here.
On Wednesday evening, we hosted a community meeting to provide a high-level district update including an important fiscal overview from Chief Financial Officer David Moore as we head into the school budget season. You can find the slides to that presentation along with the recording of the meeting here. We are currently recruiting for community members, staff, parents, and students to join us and contribute to our district budget planning process. If you are interested in serving on the TTSD Community Budget Workgroup, please contact our Director of Community Relations, Traci Rose. Complete Message

TTSD TAG Informational Meeting
We want to invite you to an informational meeting next Tuesday, February 2nd from 6-7 PM. We will be sharing research and best practices around the unique social-emotional needs of gifted students and how we can address those needs at home and at school. Topics covered will include Bett's Profiles of Giftedness, underachievement, and how to teach social resilience at home.
We hope these community meetings can continue to be a connection and a resource for our TAG families. This meeting will be recorded and will be posted on our TTSD TAG website for future viewing. To join the webinar, please click this link:https://zoom.us/j/94621694326
This meeting is not in regards to any of the COVID-19 guidelines, or the reopening school's information. If you are looking for that info, we redirect you to the TTSD YouTube page, which has all the recorded meetings about reopening schools.
We hope you can join us on Tuesday night!
