Sept. 8-11, 2015
Week 3 in Science
We have now got settled into our routines in Science and are well into our Ecoregions of Texas Unit. This week we will be working on a major grade project on Texas Ecoregions called "Rounding Up the Ecoregions". (It is due Tuesday next week)
Using a variety of research tools to analyze the biotic and abiotic factors of the ecoregions of Texas I am hoping they will recognize that different environments support a varietiy of organisms and topographic land forms.
Banana Spider
White Tail Deer by our Campsite
Bottle Biology Labs - Will start the Labs next Week)
Honors Science
Students are working on completing their research and will begin work on writing up a detailed list of materials and a procedure this weekend. These materials and procedure write ups will be due Tuesday next week.
STUDENTS MAY NOT START EXPERIMENTATION UNTIL FORMS HAVE BEEN SIGNED AND COMPLETED BY ALL CONCERNED.
I hope to get that done as soon as we get the research and paerwork on the basic scientific experimental design process completed. Please be patient while our young scientists work through negotiating this complicated process.
My News & Views
My kiddos A.K.A. yours are fantastic and I thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be their Science teacher this year! I love these young ladies and gentlemen.
They come in every single day prepared to work and are ever so polite and it just shows me how much they care... and that means the world to me.
