- To convert England she executed Catholics not willing to convert
- She refused to let Catholics, Protestant, and other religions to have beliefs
- Refused to marry a suitor
- Executed her sister
- Refused to name an heir (claiming god would have a plan for England)
Family Life & Religious Affiliation
Elizabeth refused to marry, and never named or gave birth to an heir. When she died she claimed god will take care of England. Her cousin (James I, son of Mary) took over England.
In 1559, Parliament defined England's religion. Elizabeth abolished catholic mass and even executed Catholics not willing to convert.
