Are you tidying up?
We have over 24,000 books in the Jefferson HS Library and access to tens of thousands more through our district inter-library loan.
San Antonio Public Library Central location offers over 500,000 physical items available for checkout and two special collections, the Latino Resource Collection and the Texana Genealogy on the 6th floor. The over 60,000 ebooks, 28,000 eaudio books, and about 1,400 downloadable movies for checkout through OverDrive and Libby for use on your phone, tablet, or computer completely free of charge from your home with a library card. Now any Bexar County resident may make a temporary card for checking out the digital items mentioned above in addition to resources such as scholarly databases for 90 days at a time here.
Bexar County BiblioTech all digital public library offers three locations in addition to the Central Jury satellite location, and you can access their resources anytime, 24/7 through the website and apps, including RBDigital which offers 35,000 downloadable eaudio books and 3,700 magazines and Cloudlibrary with has over 100,000 ebooks and eaudio books!
Why buy or even pay for a subscription, when you can use these resources purchased and maintained through your taxpayer dollars!

SAISD Foundation Grants
The 2020-2021 Innovative Grant process opens January 1, 2020 and closes March 27, 2020. We will award this year’s winning grants in August at the beginning of the school year. Click HERE for an Innovative Grant Application Packet!
To apply for an Innovative Grant, all lead applicants are required to attend an Innovative Grant Workshop. Workshops for the 2020-2021 Innovative Grant Process are listed below.

All applicants must have submitted all past due grant evaluations to be considered for awarding. (This includes sending digital photos and thank you cards.) Evaluations are now submitted electronically.

We expect Innovative Grants to have a lasting impact on your classroom and school. Accordingly, to evaluate your Innovative Grant projects, your project must have been in place for a full semester (two 9 week periods) to show results. Therefore, Project Leaders who were awarded an Innovative Grant the previous school year are not eligible to apply.
