AmACEing Walk-A-Thon
Our first month of school is a memory and the students and staff have been polishing up routines and procedures. Most of the students of the students have them down!
A HUGE shout out to our amACEing PTA and to all of the parents and guests that helped us to fundraise this year for a whopping $23,000+!!! Each year you come through for the Eagles community and we couldn't be more thankful. Now......to the Dunk Tank!!
Parent Teacher Conferences October 14 & 18
Our Fall conferences are quickly approaching! This year our conferences are in person, but parents can select a conference via ZOOM if that works better for them. When you register for conferences, please add (ZOOM) behind your name. If we do not see that on the schedule we know the conference will be in person. Each conference is 15 minutes in length. Thank you for being on time to help us stay on time. If you have not yet selected a conference time, please do so using the link below.

BOOK FAIR TIME October 12-19
Scholastic Book Fair begins Tuesday, October 12th and ends Monday, October 19th at 7:00 pm. Students will have an opportunity to create a wish list and/or purchase books at the book fair during their scheduled library time. Parents are welcome to purchase books during Parent-Teacher Conferences.

TREX Plastic Program
The Trex Company hosts collection programs to promote plastic bag and film recycling. Many schools and community groups participate in these programs nationwide in the hopes of winning a Trex bench. The program is simple. Eagles promotes and collects the plastic bags, they report the collection amount to Trex and deliver the plastic bags to a participating Trex retailers.
Acceptable items include:
• Bubble wrap
• Grocery bags (all colors)
• Case overwrap
• Bread bags
• Dry cleaning bags
• Newspaper sleeves
• Produce bags
• Cereal bags
• Paper towel / toilet paper overwrap
• Ziploc or food storage bags
• Ice bags (DRY – without metal clips)
• Wood pellet bags
• Stretch film and pallet wrap
• Furniture foam wrap
Our collection bin will be in the office. You or your child can bring the products above any time. Let's earn that bench AND do our part for a better planet!

PTA Update
THANK YOU to all the students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers who made the 6th Annual Walk-a-Thon a SOARING success! Because of you and the contributions of our sponsors, we raised over $23,000! This is Eagles PTA’s only fundraiser of the year, and helps to support teacher and grade-level grants, enrichment programs like FIRST LEGO League and FMCT on the Road, family fun events, and more.

On Friday afternoon, Oct. 1, Mr. Hetland, Mrs. Milligan and Mrs. Lingle are ALL headed to the dunk tank! Parents are invited to watch at 1:45 pm; please sign in at the office. The dunking also will be livestreamed in the Eagles PTA Facebook group. More photos from the event will also be shared there soon.
Our next big event is the Fall Festival, to be held Friday, Oct. 29. This year’s festival will look a little different, and we need your help to plan a great event. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sascha Cariveau or email eagleacespta@gmail.com.
