NCAA Eligibility Center Updates
If a student takes the current SAT before March 2016 and then takes the redesigned SAT at a later date, the NCAA Eligibility Center will not combine section scores from the current and redesigned SAT when determining a student's initial eligibility. The Eligibility Center will only combine section scores from the same version of the test. Because the redesigned SAT varies in design and measures different academic concepts, a numerical score on the current test may not be equivalent to the same score on the redesigned test. Students should use recipient code 9999 when sending scores the Eligibility Center. Additional information can be found HERE.
NEW CORE REQUIREMENTS FOR DIVISION I SCHOOLS
College-bound student-athletes must meet a core-course progression requirement to be eligible to compete in the initial year of full-time enrollment at an NCAA Division I school. Those who do not meet this new requirement will not be able to compete in the first year of enrollment at an NCAA Division I school. Click HERE to view FAQs about these new rules.
