Hello Lakeview Families!
The countdown is on as we prepare for another amazing school year! Your PTA and parent volunteers have already been at work and our campus looks beautiful.
See you all soon!
Proof of Residency and Teacher Phone Calls
If you have a returning student, and have not provided your proof of residency, you will not receive a phone call from your child(ren)'s teacher as they will not be officially enrolled. Proof of residency must be submitted to the office no later than August 22nd in order to receive a phone call from the teacher.
Health Guidelines for Attendance
Northwest ISD and Reliant Transportation, the school district’s busing service provider, will provide families with information on 2018-19 bus routes on Friday, Aug. 17.
Bus route information will be available online through a link to the Versatrans service on the transportation department website, and letters will also be emailed to every registered student on that day as well. To be added to a bus route, families of registered students must have completed residency verification and any paperwork requests. Additionally, a student’s campus must have released them in the system so Reliant Transportation can add him or her to a bus route.
If a student’s family waits too long to submit residency verification or outstanding paperwork, a child’s inclusion in routing could be delayed until after the third week of school, as bus routes are frozen beginning Wednesday, Aug. 15. No changes to bus routes after this date will be made until Monday, Sept. 10. A student who meets transportation requirements but missed the residency and paperwork deadline may be able to wait at a bus stop near his or her home, but that stop may not be within a short walking distance until changes are made to routes.
To ensure a child who meets transportation requirements is included in bus routing data, please submit enrollment, proof of residency and any required documents as soon as possible.

1. Think before you post, your words have power.
2.Do not post pictures or information of children who are not yours. Privacy is important so do not post pictures or information about other students without parent permission.
3. If you have a question regarding events or information regarding Lakeview, your best bet is to always email your child's teacher or call the front office.
4. If you are unhappy with a situation or would like to share a concern, please always email your child's teacher or contact our front office.
5. Finally, stay positive. No one benefits when community members disagree on line.
