OBAMA FOUNDATION SITE VISIT!
A special thanks to all attendees!
Your presence is powerful!
Change Happens! and the city of Houston joined over 124 applicants from across the nation who submitted proposals in response to the Obama Foundation Community Challenge Grant Competition. We are now one of 21 finalists who have or had the honor and privilege to be afforded a site visit to further vet our proposal's intended impact and feasibility.
As a value partner within the MBK Houston network, we want to show you our appreciation and share with you the photo gallery that commemorates this historical site visit. It is partners like you that make our work stronger and less arduous.
"It was once said, 'coming together is the beginning. keeping together is progress. working together is success.' It's been my experience that the ultimate success in any thing that matters can be found within this quote," said Noel A. Pinnock, Bureau Chief of the Bureau of Youth and Adolescent Health.
You all have become a part of HISTORY, and we look forward to seeing your support again in the future!
