October 2022
SOCK HOP is almost HERE!!
The Sock Hop will kick off with a performance by our 4th graders at 6:00 pm! We have added more games, inflatables, and an additional cotton candy machine! There will be additional food options this year too. Andy's Kitchen Famous Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and hotdogs will be added to the menu, and we will continue to sell delicious Marco's Pizza as well. We are adjusting the map to better accommodate the crowds and keep the lines as short as possible. Bring your friends and family and join us on October 21st for a swell time! It's going to be great!
We have provided a guide below to help you decide how many tickets to purchase ahead of time, but tickets will be sold onsite as well (cash only). Ticket pre-orders will be available until October 17th via School Cash. Click the link below to order now!
If you would like to support Keith Elementary by donating items or money for the Sock Hop, please click on the donation letter below. Thank you for your support of Keith Elementary! We can't wait to have some good, family fun at the Keith Sock Hop!

Anxiety and Children
It is common for kids to experience some level of anxiety at the beginning of the school year, before a test, or when there is a significant change in their lives. However, some anxiety in children can become persistent and overwhelming to the point that their lives in school or out of school are disrupted. Gifted and Talented Information
If you would like to have your student tested for the GT program, please ask your child’s teacher for a parent permission form. All GT parent permission forms for testing are due by Wednesday November 30th, no exceptions. If the deadline is missed, your child will have to wait until the next school year to be tested. GT testing will take place early in Spring 2023. Results will be sent home on April 3rd with your student.
ALL Kindergarten students will be GT tested in Spring 2023. Parents do not need to request GT parent permission forms to nominate Kindergarten students.
