- Using the steps from the video and the information from the text, "Is PE Worth the Time?" write a persuasive paragraph to your principal on whether or not PE is worth having in school. You may also read, "Recess at Risk" as an optional text to provide more examples for your opinion.
- Share your writing with your teacher in their preferred method.
MATH LESSON 1
GOAL: I can identify parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines.

- Watch the Khan Academy video below to learn the difference between parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines.

Math Lesson 2
Goal: I can correctly identify angles by using the terms acute, obtuse, and right.

- Practice your multiplication facts for 6’s, by watching the YouTube video "Six Times Table Song!"
- Watch the video “4th Grade Week 2 Angles Recording” as a teacher introduces the three different types of angles. Follow along and participate as much as you can!

Last...LANDING:
Draw and label two different size acute angles, two different size obtuse angles, and one right angle. Take a picture of your drawing(s) and send it to your teacher by the method he/she has chosen.
Ideas to Accomplish this Task:
-Use paper and pencil, markers, or colorful pens
-Use sidewalk chalk in your driveway
-Use a drawing app on your device
-Form the angles using your body
Math Lesson 3
GOAL: I can measure acute, obtuse, and right angles using a virtual protractor.
First...LAUNCH:
- Review acute, obtuse, and right angles by listening to the YouTube song!
- Learn how to read a protractor by watching and following along with the video "How to Read a Protractor".
Next...EXPLORE:
- Complete at least 10 problems within the game "Measuring Angles": https://www.mathplayground.com/measuringangles.html
- Remember to move the protractor to ensure the one arm of the angle is in line with the bottom line of the protractor.
Last...LANDING:
- After you complete 10 problems on the above link, send a picture of the scoreboard on the right side of the screen to your teacher.

- From the dropdown menu at the top of the page, select Section 1 - The Northeast Coast. You can read this page by yourself, with an adult, or listen to the recording.
- Continue to read Sections 1-9.
