Ergonomics
Ergonomics is the study of people's well being in their working environment. OSHA is the act to provide workers a safe environment to work at. One right you have is to be at a safe and helpful workplace. Also, you have the right to know about hazardous chemicals. Another, right you have is to report an injury to an employer. In a digital health place you can have some healthy digital/ergonomics habits. For example, your posture, hand placement, screen brightness, placing monitor too low, and feet are flat on the ground.
Proper Posture
To help reduce back pain you have to have the right posture. Keeping your back straight, feet on the ground and straight, and keeping your wrist like your throwing a ball. If you keep having poor back posture, later on you will have back problems.
Eye Level
When you are typing on a computer your eyes and monitor have to be at a correct angle. You monitor also has to have the correct brightness. If you don't do this then your eyes will lose focus over time.
Wrist
When typing on a computer your wrist have to be like your throwing a ball. If you don't do this you will develop a Carpal
Tunnel syndrome.
Healthy Quote
Providing the right supplies for these patients is essential for quality care. Additionally, staff can better attend to patients' needs while maintaining their own health when using proper ergonomics and the right equipment.
