Being part of the Student Sierra Coalition I got the opportunity to work with the National Park Service and Loma Verde Elementary to register fourth graders in the Find Your Park program. This program allows fourth graders (nationwide) and their families the opportunity to obtain their free annual pass to visit any National Park in the whole United States. As Chami from Chamizal National monument, I talked to a group of 4th graders about the importance of preserving nature and making it accessible to everyone. We are also advocating to build a wheelchair ramp in the Franklin Mountain State Park.
