AMS Parent Peek
August 19th 2023
Welcome!
Dear Auburn Middle School Parents,
As we gear up for another year of learning, growth, and achievement, we want to warmly welcome our returning families and those new to the Auburn Middle School community.
Please be patient as we continue to adjust schedules for students. Due to a few teacher vacancies, some of our classes are cross teamed. This only affects our eighth-grade students. When you see your student's schedule, you may notice they have a math class or Literacy class on a different team. This is not a mistake.
We recently have a vacancy in our Unified Arts content area. We have had to scramble to correct schedules today. We should have schedules posted by Monday.
We are excited about the new school year's possibilities and look forward to partnering with you to create a positive and engaging learning experience for your child. Don't hesitate to contact our administrative office with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Let's work together to make this a fantastic year filled with academic achievements, personal growth, and memorable experiences.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Synopsis of where we are:
1. Schedule will go out by Monday. We are hurrying to correct schedules as we have had a last-minute change in staff.
2. We will send parents the Power School Access information. It is essential to complete all forms before school starts. If we get close to 100% participation, we receive more funding from the state for better offerings in the cafeteria. Please take a few minutes to update all the information each year in Power School.
