Principal Message
Ray Community,
We had great time on Thursday evening hosting the Battle of the Bluebonnets, and with our Pre-Kindergarten students and families at Literacy Night. Thank you to all of our families who came out and participated in this fun early childhood learning event.
While I was off campus at a training today, I did hear all of the students looked very well dressed for Spring Picture Day. It always brings a smile to our staff's faces when they see our kiddos dressed up.
Today we opened our Spring Book Fair. Our Book Fair will be open from now until March 8, 2024. We will have our Book Fair late night on Tuesday from 4 pm until 7 pm. During this time, PTA will also host a STEAM Night in our gym.
Next week students will be focusing on Critical and Creative Thinking abilities during our extended planning times. This will occur Wednesday and Thursday with Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Martin after specials. We host grade level extended planning four times a year. During this time Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Martin work with students on each component of our Leander ISD Graduate Profile while teachers work on creating extension and intervention opportunities for Flex time. Please be sure to ask your students about their learning next week.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Alison Pennington
