April 8th, Solar Eclipse:
On April 8th, 2024, Morrow County will experience a rare celestial event: a solar eclipse! Thousands of visitors from out of town are expected to flock to our area to witness this incredible phenomenon. In preparation for the influx of visitors and to ensure the safety of our students, April 8th will be a School Remote Day for all students.
While classes will not be held in person, students will still have the opportunity to engage in remote learning activities provided by their teachers. We encourage you to take this unique opportunity to experience the eclipse with your family and to review safety guidelines for viewing solar events.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety and educational experience of our students during this exciting event.
