RNE newsletter October 5, 2017
From the Principal
Roswell North is excited to announce that we are ready to roll-out Personalized Learning in all of our classrooms. New tools exist to help teachers customize learning to individual students' needs, skills, and interests. Thanks to Fulton County, and the RNE Foundation we have been provided with mobile devices that will help teachers better meet the needs of all students. Roswell North will begin implementing Personalized Learning this Fall and will roll-out this new teaching approach in 4 phases.
Phase 1
Teachers will receive training on the Principles of Personalized Learning.
Digital Citizenship training will be completed with every class.
Device Roll-Out:
Grades K-1 will receive 30 iPads, plus 14 laptop computers per grade level.
2nd grade will receive 42 Chromebooks, plus 30 laptop computers.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will receive 80 laptop computers per grade level.
It finally feels like fall! Remember, there will be no school Friday or Monday for the students. Enjoy this long weekend making family memories!
