Series of Emotions Part I: How to Name & Understand Your Emotions
Emotional Check-in Worksheet
Life is different right now, for everyone. Our kids are having to make huge adjustments in their daily school routine and that will bring up some emotions, big emotions.
To help you better understand what your kids are dealing with, we have created a simple emotional check-in worksheet. This feelings check-in asks:
- How your kids are feeling
- What are their favorite new activities
- What they miss
- And things they are looking forward to
Family Dare (Love Language)
Love Language
Ask each family member how they prefer to receive kindness and love from other people in the family. Some people prefer words of affirmation or acts of service, whereas others may prefer a hug each day. Post a list of people’s preferences in a place everyone will see and be reminded.
