Pictures to prompt conversation
The New York Times publishes weekly photos that will make you and your children question and react. Use these pictures to hold a conversation with your children. Encourage questioning such as "Why are the kids in the water with balloons?" "How did they get there?" After asking questions and drawing conclusions, read the description of the photo together.
