LOTTERY FUNDRAISER
Your PTA is holding a lottery fundraiser for the month of May. During each day in May a $50 prize (in cash, gift certificates or product) will be awarded to the person with the ticket matching the Maryland Evening Pick 3 Lottery Number. A winner is chosen every day! If no one has the matching number ticket a consolation prize will be awarded to another number chosen at random. To make this fundraiser successful, we need to sell 1000 tickets. The tickets will be $5 each. We are asking each family to sell at least 7 tickets or make a $25 donation. Please fill out the bottom of this form and return it to school by Wednesday, April 24th.

WATCHDOGS
Our mission is simple...since 1998 WATCH D.O.G.S. has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers, grandfathers and father-figures into the classrooms and hallways of their children’s schools, with two primary program goals:
- To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
- To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
If you were unable to attend but are interested in learning how YOU can become a Watch D.O.G connect with us by emailing Lesptawatchdogs@gmail.com or check out the Watch D.O.G.S. Website atwww.dadsofgreatstudents.com!
Congratulations to Max O, third grader, who will be recognized as LES Winner of American Legion Auxiliary Essay Contest!
Parents of Fifth Graders
This year we want to include well wishes from parents for their fifth grader. These will appear in the back pages of the yearbook. The cost is $5. However, if money is an issue, please contact Nicky French at 240-586-4797 or by email at nickyfrench1125@yahoo.com.
We would like to have 100% participation in this so all 5th graders are represented. We've only received a few back. You can access it here also, should you need another copy:
