Message From Mr. Fay & Mrs. Henson
Crossroads Community!
Our staff is very appreciative of your efforts to help us with making sure our students are continuing to learn and grow during the closure. We all know what a challenge it has been as we also have children we have to help navigate learning from home. Parents, we thank you from the bottom of our heart for your efforts!
Speaking of being appreciative, Teacher Appreciation Week starts on Monday, May 4. Crossroads is very blessed to have such a wonderful staff. Their dedication to their teaching craft is top notch. During this closure, we have been so impressed with their ability to adapt and to learn a new way to teach.
Please help us with recognizing our teaching staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. We can think of a few ways you could do this: A kind email, a video message, egift cards, an online presentation, a virtual greeting card, etc. Even just a simple, “Thank you!” Anything you can do to help appreciate our teachers would be, well, appreciated.
If you ever feel the need, reach out to either of us and we can help answer any questions or to work through any concerns you may have. We look forward to the day we all can be back together!
We miss you! Have a great May!
Mr. Fay and Mrs. Henson

Wentzville School District Board of Education
New Boundaries Approved for 2020-2021 School Year
The Board of Education has approved new boundaries for the District's elementary, middle and high schools as presented by the Boundary Committee and MGT Consulting to accommodate continued enrollment growth and the new elementary school and the new high school currently under construction. The committee, which met five times from May through November, was comprised of parents, community members, staff members and a Board member.
The new elementary boundaries will go into effect for the 2020-2021 school year when the new elementary school being built on Interstate Drive in Wentzville is scheduled to open. The new middle school and high school boundaries will go into effect beginning in the 2021-2022 school year when the new high school being built near West Meyer Road and North Point Prairie Road in Wentzville is scheduled to open.
Please know that everyone involved in this process appreciates how very personal and significant this change is for some students and families. We respect that and we are confident that our caring staff will ensure a smooth transition for affected students and their families.
For additional details about the new boundaries and the process of developing them, please visit the District website.
